- 1 flank steak - (2 to 2 1/2 lbs)
- 2 teaspoons unseasoned meat tenderizer
- 2 tablespoons dry sherry
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon honey
Pierce surface of steak at 1-inch intervals with sharp fork. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over steak. Let stand at room temperature 1 hour or more, turning occasionally.
Place steak about 3 inches from heat, and broil 3 minutes on each side. To serve, thinly slice with sharp knife, carving at an angle against the grain.
