Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds of ground beef
- 1.5 pounds of ground pork
- 3.5 c italian style bread crumbs
- 1 c grated parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
Preparation
Step 1
Mix al ingredients with your hands. If mixture is still too dry add one more egg.
Fry in veg oil or bake in 375-400' oven turning them when they start to brown.
If adding them to a sauce - DO NOT fully cook them in the pan or in the oven - just cook them about 3/4 of the way - constantly rolling them around...then add them to a pot of sauce.
This keeps the meatballs from becoming too hard. The softer meatballs absorb more of the sauce flavor. The hot pot of sauce will finish the cooking.
