Ingredients
- 2 lb boneless, skinless [turkey] breast or thigh meat
- 1.5 c orange juice
- 1 c EVOO
- 1/2 c lime juice
- 1/3 c soy sauce
- 2 t ground cumin
- 2 t honey or sugar
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
1. Cut [turkey] into 1" chunks.
2. Whisk together the rest of the ingredients until well blended.
3. Put [turkey] into a lg resealable plastic bag, & coat w/ half the marinade.
(The other half can be used for marinating kabob vegetables, i.e., zucchini, yellow squash, red & green bell peppers, red onions, cherry tomatoes, & mushrooms. Just cut vegetables into slightly larger chunks than the [turkey]).
4. Seal bag & refrigerate, turning bag occasionally, for@ least 3 hrs or overnight.
5. Grill [turkey] kabobs over 375F heat until jut cooked through & slightly charred, turning often, ~8 min.
