Ingredients
- Frosting:
- 2 C Sugar
- 1 3/4 C flour
- 3/4 C cocoa
- 1 1/2 t baking powder
- 1 1/2 t baking soda
- 1 t salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 C milk
- 1/2 C veg oil
- 2 t van x
- 1 C boiling water
- 9 T soft butter
- 4 C 10x sugar
- 3/4 C cocoa
- 2/3 C milk
- 1 1/2 t van x
Preparation
Step 1
Grease & flour 2 9" round pans.
Mix sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda & salt. Add eggs, milk, oil & van x. Beat well. Mix in boiling water. (Batter will be thin)
Pour into pans & bake 30-35 mins.
Cool 10 mins in pan. Remove onto cooling rack.
Chocolate Buttercream Frosting:
Beat butter, alternating adding sugar, cocoa & milk. Add Van x
