  • CRUST:

    cup flour

  • 1/2

    cup oleo

  • 1/4

    cup brown sugar

  • FILLING:

  • 8

    ounces cream cheese

  • 2

    cups powdered sugar

  • Milk

  • 1

    (3 ounce) package strawberry Jell-O

  • 1

    quart strawberries

  • 12

    ounces Cool Whip

  • 1 1/2

    cups sugar

  • 1 1/2

    cups water

  • 1/4

    cup cornstarch

Directions

CRUST: Mix good and add 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Spread on cookie sheet. Bake at 300deg for 20 minutes. Stir every 5 minutes. Press into bottom of 11” x 9” x 2” casserole dish. - FILLING: Mix cream cheese with powdered sugar. Add a little milk to spread better. Pour over cooled crust. Mix sugar, water and cornstarch. Cook until clear. Add strawberry Jell-O and mix good. Let cool. Add strawberries. Pour over cream cheese filling. Top with Cool Whip. - *Try baking crust in serving pan and bake until brown.
