Ingredients
- 1 cup crushed raspberries
- 2-3 cups fresh raspberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup water
- Bring to a boil
- 1/3 cup water
- 3 tbs cornstarch
- 1 baked pie crust
- slowly pour into the boiling mixture and stir until thickened.
- place a small amount of sauce mixture in the bottom of the pie then layer fresh raspberries with the sauce

Step 1
Mix the crushed raspberries with sugar and 2/3 cup water and bring to a boil. Slowly pour 1/3 cup water mixed with cornstarch into the berry mixture. Boil until thickened and translucent. Cool the sauce to lukewarm or cooler. Pour a small amount in the bottom of the pie crust. Layer fresh raspberries and sauce. Cool. Serve with cool whip or whipping cream.
