Italian Bread (Food.com)

I just made one large loaf. I used a pizza stone with oil and corn meal.

Ingredients

  • 5 1/2-6 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 5 teaspoons active dry yeast (2 packages )
  • 1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine, softened
  • 1 3/4 cups very warm water (120 -130 F)
  • cornmeal

Preparation

Step 1

Put in bread machine. Bake on 425° for 30 minutes.
