Ingredients
- frozen 9" deep pie crust - brush crust with beaten egg yolk and prick
- 5 eggs
- 1 1/2 C heavy cream (mix and put in refridgerator)
- 1 red bell pepper - diced
- 1 green pepper - diced
- 1 C herb seasoned stuffing
- 1 C grated Swiss cheese
- 1 C grated Monterey jack cheese
- 1/2 t onion powder
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/4 t pepper
- You can add either 1 C of ham, turkey or chicken
Preparation
Step 1
Spread peppers on bottom of pie shell. Then sprinkel stuffing over peppers. Add cheeses, then spices.
Line cookie sheet (with sides) with foil.
Whisk eggs, pour over top of quiche, filling halfway Place on oven rack and add egg mixture to within 1/4".
Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
Cool 15-30 minutes.
