Pasta - Sauce 'Tomato Basil

Sauce intended for 3/4 lbs of Pasta

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic (chopped)
  • 1 med. Onion (chopped)
  • 20 leaves Fresh Basil (shredded)
  • 1 (14 oz.) can diced Tomatoes (drained)
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1 (28 oz.) crushed Tomatoes

Preparation

Step 1

1.) Heat a med. pot on the stove over Medium heat.

2.) Add Olive Oil, Garlic & Onions. Let Onions cook with Garlic slowly over 15 minutes . DO NOT brown the Onions. Stir in Tomatoes & raise heat to warm. Season with Salt & Pepper.

3.) Stir in Basil & wilt it into the sauce. Remove from heat.
