- 1 Cup high quality vanilla ice cream.

Melt one cup of vanilla ice cream in fridge. That is it. No one would ever know otherwise. Chefs do it all the time. Can pour with a squeeze bottle and if you wish warm in microwave then put in squeeze bottle and pour. Or, just spoon it over. Adds a nice rich creamy flavor. Think about it, ice cream is basically an unthickened custard.
You can fill the crape with fresh half sliced (length wise) banana or strawberries or any fruit you wish with softened vanilla ice cream or sweetened whipped cream or cool whip; could also use sweetened cream cheese (1 8 oz pkg cream cheese, room temp, 1 tsp vanilla, 2 tbsp sugar mix until smooth) or Italian Mascarpone which is a little sweeter already. Roll the crape and pour the melted ice cream over top.
