CHICKEN FRICASSEE (CHICKEN & MEATBALLS)

Ingredients

  • meatballs:
  • 1 CHICKEN - CUT UP
  • SEASONING salt
  • GARLIC POWDER
  • OIL
  • 3-4 ONIONS
  • WATER
  • 1-1/2 LB grd beef
  • seasoning salt
  • garlic powder
  • grated onion

Preparation

Step 1

CHICKEN:
season cut up chicken w/ seasoning salt & garlic powder

brown chicken well in little oil

cut 3-4 onions in chunks
brown onions lightly

add water & keep slow flame
cover pot
stir occasionally
add more water when necessary

2-1/2-3 HRS

MEAT BALLS:
season same as chicken
add grated onion
brown slightly
add to chicken for last hour of cooking time
