Baked Mushroom Caps with Crabmeat Stuffing

  • 1 can - 1 cup Lump crabmeat
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup cheddar cheese
  • Large mushroom caps
  • hot sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste



Step 1

buy a can of pasteurized lump crabmeat. in a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of crab, 1 egg, 1/4 cup chopped onion, 1/4 cup chopped green pepper, and 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese. plase large mushroom caps on a cookie sheet. Stuff each cap and bake at 425F for 10-12 minutes. Serve with hot sauce.
