Ingredients
- 1 C butter - softened
- 1 C sugar
- 1 C brown sugar - firmly packed
- 1 egg
- 1 C salad oil
- 1 C oats - regular
- 1 C crushed corn flakes
- 1/2 C shredded coconut
- 1/2 - 1 C chopped pecans
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Preparation
Step 1
preheat oven to 325
cream together butter& sugars until light & fluffy
add egg, then salad oil, mixing well after each addition.
add oats, corn flakes, coconut & pecans, stirring well
sift tog. flour, soda & salt - add to mixture
add vanilla
mix well & form into balls the size of a small walnut
place on ungreased cookie sheet
flatten w/ fork dipped in water
bake 10-12 min
allow to cool for a few minutes before removing cookies
