Moist Drumsticks

Ingredients

  • 3 LB chicken drumsticks, skin removed
  • 1 can (8oz) tomato sauce
  • 1/2 C soy sauce
  • 1/4 C packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 3 TBL cornstarch
  • 1/4 Cold water

Preparation

Step 1

place drumsticks in 5-qt slow cooker

in sm. bowl, combine tomato sauce, brown sugar & garlic
pour over chicken

cover & cook on low 5-6 hrs or until chicken juices run clear

remove chicken & keep warm

strain cooking juices

in sm. saucepan, combine cornstarch & cold water until smooth
stir in juices
bring to boil
cook & stir for 2 min. or until thickened

serve w/ chicken
