Gail's Egg Noodles W/Saurkraut & Sausage Doctored Up

  • 1 bag flat egg noodles
  • 1 large jar sauerkraut, rinsed
  • sausage, casing removed
  • olive oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 large garlic cloves
  • butter
  • salt
  • white pepper
  • caraway seed
  • parsley

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a saucepan bring water to a boil, and add noodles. Cook according to directions.

2. In a large pan heat olive oil and add onion. Cook for a while, add garlic and sausage. I used brats, chicken sausage, and cooked meatballs. Cook until meat is browned.

3. Add sauerkraut to pan and cook till tender.

4. Add butter to cooked pasta, and add seasonings. Combine all together. Keep warm in a crock pot.
