Chocolate Chunk Cookies
- 2 sticks Margarine
- 1 stick Crisco
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 1/2 Cups Brown Sugar
- 2 Large Eggs
- 2 Tsps. Vanilla Extract
- 1 Tsp. Salt
- 2 Tsps. Baking Soda
- 4 Cups Flour
- 1 12 oz. pkg. Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunks
- 2 Cups. Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
- 1 Cup Pecans (optional)
In stand mixer beat first 6 ingredients 2 - 3 minutes.
Add Salt and Baking Soda and beat 1 minute. Add flour one cup at a time mixing just until incorporated.
Remove Bowl from mixer and stir in chocolate.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Drop dough by ice-cream scoopful onto ungreased cookie sheets. Move oven racks to divide oven into thirds. Bake for 12 - 14 minutes, switching racks approximately half way through baking time.
Cool for 5 minutes on cookie sheet and remove to cooling rack.
