Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp pine nuts
Preparation
Step 1
In food processor with knife blade attached, or in a blender at medium speed, blend all ingredients until smooth. Add up to 1/4 cup hot water if needed, to make the sauce smoother. Makes about 3/4 cup sauce, enough to serve over 1 lb of pasta.
