Ingredients
- 1/3 C flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 boneless beef rump or chuck roast (3LBS)
- 2 TBL vegie oil
- 1-1/2 C beef broth
- 1/2 C chutney
- 1/2 C raisins
- 1/2 C chopped onion
- 1-1/2 tsp curry powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp grd ginger
Preparation
Step 1
combine flour, S & P
rub over entire roast
in dutch oven, brown roast in oil on all sides
combine remaining ingredients
pour over roast
cover & bake @ 325 for 3 hrs or until meat is tender
thicken gravy if desired
