    pkg. chocolate cake mix

    pkg. (10 oz.) peanut butter chips

  • cups milk, divided

  • ½

    cup whipping cream

  • ¼

    tsp. vanilla

    pkg. (5.9 oz.) instant chocolate pudding

    carton thawed cool whip

  • 4

    nestle crunch candy bars, crumbled


Prepare cake according to package directions and pour into a 9" x 13" pan and bake. In a sauce pan, combine chips, 1/4 cup milk, and whipping cream. Heat over low heat and stir until chips are melted. Stir in vanilla. Cool to room temperature. Place the remaining milk in a mixing bowl; beat in pudding mixes on low speed for 2 minutes. It will thicken as it sits. Cut the cooled cake into bite size pieces. To assemble: Put half of the cake pieces into a trifle or large bowl, layer it with 1/2 of the peanut butter sauce, 1/2 of the pudding, 1/2 of the cool whip, and 1/2 of the candy bars. Repeat the layers. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
