Ingredients

  • 2 *2 sticks of real butter
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 6 *6 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream - 8 oz.
  • 3 cups flour (all-purpose)
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. almond
  • *NEEDS TO BE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE

Preparation

Step 1

Sift flour and soda. Set aside.
Cream butter and add sugar. Mix eggs in one at a time. Add sour cream, vanilla & almond. Add sifted flour a little at a time.

Pour into a greased & floured tube pan. Bake at 300 for 1 & 1/2 hours.
NOTE: DO NOT OPEN OVEN DOOR DURING BAKING.
