Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta cooked and drained
  • 2 T butter or margarine (opt.)
  • 1 C grated parmesian cheese, divided
  • 24 oz ricotta cheese (may use lite)
  • 1/2 lb browned ground beef
  • 28 oz jar prepared pasta sauce
  • 8 oz mozarella cheese

Preparation

Step 1

- Line a 13X9 inch pan or 2 8X8 pans with nonstick foil
- If using butter, combine it with hot pasta until it coats the pasta; add 1/2 C parmesian and stir to coat
- Arrange evenly on bottom of pan(s); spread ricotta over top, sprinkle with 1/4 C parmesian
-Mix ground beef and pasta sauce, spoon over pasta; top with remaining parmesian and mozarella
Cover, bake at 400 for 30 min; remove foil; bake 15 more min until cheese islightly browned; let stand 10 min before serving
