  • 1 1/2 C melted butter
  • 2 C sugar
  • 1/2 C frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 4 t. baking soda
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1 t. orange zest
  • 4 C flour
  • 1/3 C sugar for later


Servings 120


Step 1

Add sugar and OJ concentrate to melted butter. Stir. Let cool. Add eggs, baking soda, salt, orange zest. Stir after each addition. Add flour in increments and mix thoroughly. Cover bowl and chill 2 hours or overnight.

Roll dough into walnut sized balls and roll in sugar. Place on greased cookie sheets. Press down a little.

Bake 10 - 12 minutes. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheets. Cookies freeze well.
