Ingredients
- 12 slices thick sliced bacon
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 2 Tb. water
- 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line 15x10 jelly roll pan with heavy duty foil. Spray wire rack with cooking spray; place in prepared pan. Cut bacon in half crosswise; arrange in single layer on prepared wire rack. Combine brown sugar, water and red pepper in a small bowl; mix well. Brush generously over surface of bacon. Bake bacon 20-25 minutes or until bacon is very brown, but not burned. Immediately transfer to serving platter; cool completely. Serve cold.
