Caramel Peaches

Ingredients

  • 6 large peaches, peeled and sliced (6 c.frozen sliced peaches, thawed, may be substituted)
  • 3 Tb. sugar
  • 1/4 c. butter , cut into small pieces
  • 1 c. whipping cream

Preparation

Step 1

Place peaches in a lightly greased 11x7x11/2" baking dish; sprinkle with sugar, and dot with butter. Bake peaches at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until tender and liquid is slightly thickened, stirring once. Stir in whipping cream; bake as additional 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Cool on a wire rack 15 minutes; serve warm.
