Caramel Bananas

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar, light
  • 1/3 cup sour cream non fat
  • 2 medium banana
  • 1/2 cup peanuts
  • 1 square baking chocolate, semi-sweet
  • 1/2 cup Cool Whip

Preparation

Step 1

*Melt butter in large skillet on medium heat.
*Add sugar; cook until melted, stirring occasionally.
*Reduce heat to low. Gradually add sour cream; cook 1 minute.
*Cut bananas in half lengthwise and crosswise creating 4 half slices each.
*Add banana slices, cut sides down, add peanuts to skillet.
*Cook 1 minute or until bananas are evenly coated and tender; basting occasionally with sauce.
*Spoon bananas into 4 desert dishes; top with remaining sauce from skillet.
*Drizzle with chocolate. Top with Cool Whip.
