Pepper Steak

Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 lbs round steak
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbs cornstarch
  • 2 Tbs butter, melted
  • 2 Tbs soy sauce
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1 large green pepper, cut into strips
  • 1/4 tsp course black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Combine melted butter and water in crock pot. Stir in garlic powder, cornstarch, soy sauce, beef bouillon cubes and black pepper. Add green pepper strips. Cut meat into thin strips about 2 inches long by 1.4 inch wide. Add meat to crock pot. Cover and cook for 6 to 8 hours. Serve plain or over cooked rice or noodles.
