  • 2 squared (2oz) unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 small pkg. softened cream cheese (3oz)
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) soft butter
  • 3-1/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • few drops peppermint extract (optional)
  • dash of salt



Step 1

Melt chocolate over hot water. In mixing bowl cream together the cream cheese and butter. Add powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, peppermint extract and salt; beat smooth. Add melted chocolate and blend well. Frosts tops and sides of 2 8" or 9" layers.
