Rosemary Game Hens

- 2 Cornish game hens whole or halved
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 garlic clove coarsely chopped
- 2 tablespoons parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon summer savory
- 1/2 cup chicken stock or water
- Salt to taste
- Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
Brown hens in oil. Add garlic. Sprinkle with herbs. Add 1/2 cup water or chicken stock. Cover, reduce heat to low, and cook until done, 40 to 60 minutes.
