Buster Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 (15 oz.) pkg. Oreo cookies
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
  • 2 c. salted peanuts
  • 2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 2/3 c. chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Crush Oreos. Melt butter and combine with Oreos. Put in bottom of a 9x13 pan. Press down. Soften ice cream and spread on top of crust. Sprinkle with peanuts. Put in freezer.

In a saucepan combine powdered sugar, butter, evaporated milk, chocolate chips and vanilla. Stir and boil 8 minutes til it thickens. Cool until lukewarm and then spread over peanuts and freeze. Store in freezer.
