Rum Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 ounces rum (3 tbsp.)

Step 1

Boil sugar and water 5 minutes. Add butter, vanilla and rum. Cook until a syrupy mixture.
