Crock-pot Beef Stew

Ingredients

  • 2 lb beef chuck or stew meat, cut in 1" cubes
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 8 carrots, sliced
  • 5 potatoes, diced
  • 1 onions, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, sliced

Preparation

Step 1

Place meat in crock-pot. Mix flour, salt and pepper and pour over meat. Stir to coat meat with flour. Add remaining ingredients and stir to mix well. Cover and cook on low 10-12 hours. (high: 4 to 6 hours). Stir stew thoroughly before serving.
