Ingredients
- 3 pounds Italian Sausage, cut into 3/4 inch slices
- 4 medium green peppers, cut into thin strips
- 1 medium onion, quartered, thinly sliced
- 1 Tbs butter or stick of margarine
- 1 Tbs olive oil
- 3 Tbs chicken broth
- 6 plum tomatoes, coarsely chopped
- 1 Tbs minced parsley
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
Preparation
Step 1
In a Dutch Oven, cook the sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Add the remaining ingredients. Cover and cook for 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally. Serve with slotted spoon.
