CHICKEN POP-OVERS

  • 8

Ingredients

  • 1 - 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 - 9 oz. pkg Louis Rich Grilled
  • Chicken Breast Strips (chopped)
  • 1/4 tsp. dried parsley
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 - 8 oz. pkg. refrigerated crescent rolls
  • garlic to taste
  • slivered almonds, optional
  • (MOST Rodes hate these in their food)

Preparation

Step 1

Pre-heat oven to 350F.

In a medium bowl, combine creame cheese, chicken, parsley, onions and almonds if using them. Mix well.

Open package of crescent rolls but
DO NOT divide into triangles. Keep every 2 triangles together forming 4 squares. Pinch the seam of the crescent rolls in the middle of each square closed and roll or pat each one into a larger square.

Put 1/4 of the chicken mixture in the center of each square. Fold the corners of the crescent rolls up and over the chicken mixture, layering the corners like flower petals so the roll is mostly sealed.

Place on a lightly greased (or spray with PAM!) cookie sheet and bake until golden brown - 5 to 12 minutes - depending on how your oven heats.
