Ingredients

  • Directions:
  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • 1 (12 ounce) bottle beer
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • ● Mix the first 4 ingredients.
  • Add the beer to the above mixture and mix well.
  • ● Pour into a lightly greased 9 x5 inch loafpan.
  • ● Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
  • ● Pour melted butter over top of bread and bake 10 more minutes.
