Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breasts, cut into 1” pieces
  • 1 egg
  • Cornstarch
  • 1/4 c orange juice
  • 3 Tbsp seasoned rice vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp Thai chili sauce
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Vegetables as desired (broccoli, carrots,
  • pea pods, pepper, water chestnuts, etc)

Preparation

Step 1

- Dip chicken pieces into egg then cornstarch. Set aside for 15-20 minutes to dry.
Combine orange juice, vinegar, soy sauce, chili sauce, brown sugar and garlic.
Stir 1 Tbsp orange juice mix into cornstarch.
Sauté chicken pieces until golden and tender. Set aside.
Sauté vegetables of choice until tender.
Return chicken to pan, add orange juice mixture and cornstarch mixture and cook until thick and clear. Add green onions and stir to heat through.
Serve over rice.
