They make these all the time down home. They are delicious peanut-butter chocolate candy, commonly referred to as "Dog Turds"!

Ingredients

• 1 pound butter, melted
• 2 cups peanut butter
• 1 1/2 pounds powdered sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 bags semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
• 2 tablespoons Crisco

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter and stir in peanut butter. Add powdered sugar and incorporate. Stir in vanilla.

Refrigerate until hard. Roll into small balls.

Melt chocolate chips and Crisco together in a double boiler.

Stick toothpicks into peanut butter balls and dip into melted chocolate. Lay on waxed paper and refrigerate until firm.
