Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 1 stick margerine
- 1 1/2 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten well
- 2 3/4 2 3/4 cups sifted flour
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter, oleo and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Sift all dry ingredients except 2 tbls. sugar and cinnamon; add to mixture. Mix thoroughly and put in the refrigerator overnight. Roll into balls the size of a walnut; roll balls in cinnamon and sugar mixture. Place balls on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 375º for 8 to 10 minutes. Let cookies stand a minute before removing from cookie sheet.
