Ingredients
- 2 1/2 lb boneless chuck roast
- 2 small onions, chopped
- 12 oz. Coke
- 1/3 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 T apple cider vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp. beef bouillon
- 3/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 3/4 tsp. chilli powder
- 1/4-1/2 tsp. ground red pepper
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 c. ketchup
- 1 T. margarine
- hamburger buns
Preparation
Step 1
1. Place roast in slow cooker; add onion.
2. Combine Coke and next 7 ingredients (Worcestershire thru garlic).
3. Cover and chill 1 cup of sauce.
4. Pour remaining sauce over roast.
5. Cover and cook on High for 6 hours or on Low for 9 hours.
6. Remove roast and shred w/2 forks.
7. Combine reserved sauce, ketchup and margarine in a saucepan.
8. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until heated.
9. Pour sauce overshredded meat.
10. Serve on hamburger buns.
