Ingredients
- 4 tsp baking soda
- 9 cups quick oatmeal
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 pound sweet butter
- 1 pound brown sugar
- 2 cups white sugar
- 2 tsp corn syrup
- 1 1/2 pounds chunky peanut butter
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 lbs chocolate chips
- 1/2 lbs butterscotch chips
- Nuts & raisins optional
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Mix soda with oatmeal in a large bowl and set aside
In a separate bowl, cream the eggs, butter, brown & white sugars. Stir in corn syrup, peanut butter, vanilla extract and the chocolate and butterscotch chips until well combined. Add the oatmeal mixture to the chip mixture and stir until well combined.
Using a small ice cream or cookie scoop, drop dough onto ungreased baking sheets 2 inches apart. Bake 10-15 minutes until lightly browned.
