Ingredients
- 4 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast Halves sliced in half crossways
- 1 Tsp dried thyme
- Salt and Pepper
- -----
- Flour
- -----
- 4 Tbsp Olive Oil
- -----
- 1 Red Onion, thinly sliced
- Small bunch of fresh Thyme, chopped
- -----
- 1/4 Cup White Wine
- 1 Cup Chicken Broth
- 1 Lemon, Juiced
- -----
- 1 Tbsp Butter
Preparation
Step 1
1) Season chicken with Thyme, Salt and Pepper
2) Heat a large pan over MEDIUM to MEDIUM-HIGH HEAT and then add Olive Oil
3) Dredge chicken in flour and sauté for about 4 minutes per side or until cooked through
4) Remove chicken to a warm plate
5) Turn heat down to LOW HEAT and add the onion and fresh thyme and cook until aromatic
6) Turn heat up to HIGH HEAT and add the White Wine, Lemon Juice and Stock and cook until reduced
7) Remove from heat and finish sauce with butter then season with salt and pepper
