Ingredients

  • 500 g extra lean minced beef
  • 1 level tbsp tomato puree
  • pinch of grated nutmeg
  • pinch of dried thyme
  • pinch of allspice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 large egg, raw
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 190 degrees C. Put all ingredients in a bowl except hard-boiled eggs and mix until well combined.

Put half of the meat mixture into a loaf pan, coated with cooking spray. Add the eggs, then cover with the remaining meat mixture.

Cover with foil and cook in the oven for approximately 45 minutes. Remove foil and cook for a further 10 minutes to brown the top.
