Ingredients

  • 1/4

    cup butter

  • 1/4

    cup honey

  • 1/3

    cup packed brown sugar

  • 2

    cups quick cooking oats

  • 1

    cup rice krispies

  • 1/2

    tsp vanilla

  • 2

    TBSP mini chocolate chips

Directions

Mix cereal & oats together in large bowl. Set aside. In small saucepan melt butter, honey, & brown sugar together over high heat till it starts to bubble, stirring constantly. Reduce heat & cook 2 minutes. Stir in vanilla. Pour over dry ingredients & mix well. Pour into lightly greased jelly roll pan (12x8x1) and pack them down tightly. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and lightly press them into the bars. Let cool, cut & wrap. **I added peanut butter to the honey mix. Not sure exactly how much I added I just kinda dumped :) if I had to guess I would say 1/3-1/2 cup. I also tripled the recipe & used a cookie sheet.
