Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla extract
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. Baking powder
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1 Tbsp. Light Karo syrup (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to butter mixture. On floured surface (or use powdered sugar) roll dough until 1/8-inch thick. Cut with favorite cookie cutters. Bake 6-7 minutes. Decorate with Wilton color-flow icing and icing writers.
