Salted and Spiced Melon

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds mixed melons (such as cantaloupe, Charentais, or honeydew), cut into 1-inch wedges
  • 1 lemon, halved
  • 2 tablespoons flaky sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons smoked sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon Aleppo pepper
  • 1 tablespoon crushed pink peppercorns
  • 1 tablespoon sumac

Preparation

Step 1

Arrange melons on a platter and squeeze lemon over. Place salts and spices in separate small bowls or ramekins and serve with melons for sprinkling over.
