- 6 cups crushed strawberries
- 4 cups sugar
- 1 box sure-gel

Step 1
Measure exact amt sugar in separate bowl. Mix 1/4 c sugar from the 4 cups with box of sure-gel. Stir sure-gel & sugar into fruit in saucepot. Add 1/2 tsp butter or margarine to reduce foaming. Bring mixture to full rolling boil..add in remaining sugar quickly. Return to full boil & boil exactly 1 minute stirring constantly. Ladle into hot jars, cover with lid. invert for 5 minutes then turn upright.
