Beef, Sausage and Cheese Squares

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of deli pumpernickel,
  • sourdough or multigrain bread,
  • thin sliced ( 2" squares)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound sage flavored sausage
  • 1 pound Velveeta cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Brown both meats together and drain off fat.
Add cubed cheese and heat just to melt.
Place slices of bread on cookie sheet and place well rounded tablespoonful of meat mixture on each slice.
Freeze.
When frozen, place in airtight bags til ready to serve.
When ready to serve, place bread squares on baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees til heated through, about 10 to 15 minutes.
