Buttery oat and sultana cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (160g) brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 100 g Butter, Soft
  • 2/3 cup (100g) plain flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup (90g) sultanas

Preparation

Step 1

The kids will love to make these delicious, wholesome oat and sultana cookies.

Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan-forced).

In a large bowl, whisk together sugar and egg until pale and creamy.
Add vanilla and butter and continue to beat until well combined.
Stir through remaining ingredients.
Drop tablespoon-sized balls onto an oven tray lined with baking paper, allowing room for them to spread. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden.
