Ooey Gooey Caramel Sauce (DF)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • 2/3 cup nondairy milk of choice (such as almond milk or coconut milk)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp sea salt

Preparation

Step 1

Soak dates in warm water for 20 minutes, then drain.
Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
Note: I use my Vitamix, so don't need to soak dates, but increase liquid as necessary for blending.

Can be stored in a glass jar or airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
