Ingredients
- 2 large onions chopped
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 4 ounces prosciutto, chopped
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 small jalepeno, minced
- 1 large green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 14 ounce cans black eyed peas
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon mustard, prepared
- 1 12 ounce beer
- 1/2 green onion, sliced

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil in a sauce pan over medium high heat. Add prosciutto, onions, garlic, jalepeno and green pepper. Saute until translucenst and the bacon is crisp. Ad the peas and remaining ingredients up to green onions. Simmer for 30 minutes or until peas are cooked through and sauce has thickened. Stir in green onions at the end.
