Appetizer Olive-Cheese Ball

Ingredients

  • 1 (8-ounce) cream cheese, softened
  • 8 ounces blue cheese (crumbled)
  • 1/4 cup soft butter or margarine
  • 2/3 cup well drained chopped ripe olives
  • 1 tablespoon minced chives
  • 1/4 cup California walnuts or pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Blend one 8-ounce cream cheese (softened, 8 ounces blue cheese (crumbled) and 1/4 cup soft butter or margarine.

Stir in 2/3 cup well-drained chopped ripe olives and 1 tablespoon minced chives.

Chill slightly. Form in ball on serving dish. Chill well. To serve, sprinkle 1/3 cup chopped California walnuts over ball. Serve with crackers

Makes 3 cups.
